Bee Care during Transportation: Packages are contained so you can transport them in your vehicle safely. The most important factor to note is that you need to keep the bees from overheating during transportation. Especially if traveling longer distances, you'll want to have windows open or AC on. Securing the packages or nucs to the back of an open truck bed is better than being closed up in a hot canopy. Having a spray bottle of water on hand for long distances is a great idea too, you can spray packages and nucs to keep the bees cool during transport.
Post Purchase Bee Care: We want to remind that you that we do our best to provide you with high quality, healthy bees, but once they are in your care they are your responsibility alone. We strongly recommend that you have a plan in place for varroa mite treatment, disease mitigation and own proper safety equipment to ensure you and your hive have as much success as possible. We do not accept any liability for injury or damage caused by bees we have sold, nor for any other issue once the bees are in your possession.
